Situated right in the heart of Brisbane, Queensland's biggest city, the Kangaroo Point crag has heaps of good bouldering. The rock is varied and the landings flat making it ideal for extented bouldering sessions. The council has supplied night lighting, free BBQ's and parking. Because of the generally vertical nature of the cliff most problems are hard eliminates on small crimps and slopers. The rock tends to get greasy from literally hundreds of boulder ascents a week so bring heaps of chalk. Every piece of rock at K-Point has been dynoed off, crimped and eliminated to produce thousands of independant and worthwhile problems. Finding a fellow bouldering buddy is no problem - just trek along any night to find a wide asortment of the climber type. Just be careful of the Rap Jumpers!
