Classic alpine adventure? Mt Abrubt - the chossiest climbing in the Grampians.

Nick starts up the unpleasant pitch 1 of Powerdive (14) in far from perfect weather on Mt Abrubt.

Nick grins manicly at the thought of 5 more pitches of wet moss and dirt.

The clouds rose for this rare glimpse from the heights of Mt Abrubt.

Nick on the best five metres of the route on pitch five. Only a little bit of loose rock and the occasional clump of grass.

Neil happily finishes the big ple of rubbish which is Powerdive. Not recomended.
