As soon as I touched down from my whirlwind New Zealand trip I was in my car heading to the Grampians to meet my friends from Queensland who had been down for nine days. Bad communication menat I spent two days waiting for them at the Gallery campground when in fact they were at Mt Stapylton all along. During those couple of days I found thirty potential new routes at seven cliffs. I was very scratched and worn out by the time I found the guys 50km north. The Stapylton area was very busy with many hard climbers all cranking nasty things in the Hollow Mtn Cave and on Spurt Wall. The guys still hadn't done anything on Taipan or Clicke so I gave them the tour...
