We headed to this somewhat famous tourist debacle about an hour from Melbourne. The area is covered in hundreds of mossy boulders and tors of dubious quality. There are several excellent areas for bouldering, the summit being the best. We brought a packed lunch and a mat and explored this amazingly complicated area. View the 45second bouldering video here.

This is not a good sign. Climbing has been banned here for about 10 years but bouldering seems to be okay.

Some mossy boulders just waiting to be climbed - after a good brushing.

Neil on a good V1 face route protected by the newly made red crash mat.

Mossy towers suround the hill on Hanging Rock. Many of these cliffs have established bolted routes which havn't been climbed in years.

Neil on another great summit boulder. This one was about V2 with the sit start.

Some of the rock towers. Camels Hump climbing area is on the mountain in the background.
